Dear Friends,

Allah-u-Abhá and Warm Greetings,

I am currently looking to move back to Ghana to serve as a pioneer. I served previously in the capital city (Accra) in this West African country doing some work with the Publishing Committee, the Core Literature Committee, and serving as Editor/Publisher of their national news magazine.

The National Spiritual Assembly has recently expressed an interest in my returning to serve there, and I am awaiting official word from the National Secretariat regarding details.

Below are some needs identified as I prepare for this opportunity for service. No need to sugar-coat my needs. They are many, so here goes. If you think you can help me out with any of them, that would be great.

Service Needs

Dental: The first one is a little embarrassing but I’ll put it out there anyway. Is there a Bahá'í dentist out there? I’d like to have a broken partial replaced prior to overseas travel.

Material Needs

Software:

Microsoft Publisher: Friends, I am currently working on publishing my first compilation of Holy Writings, tentatively entitled Apples for the Pupils: Prayers, Meditations and Thoughts from the Mind of God. I will be typesetting the manuscript myself. I have actually typeset a book before while serving in Ghana. It was called The Importance of Obligatory Prayer and Fasting, and so I know just a little bit about how to do it, but I do need the Publisher software.

Monetary Needs

Passport: $65 (full or partial donation accepted)

Shoes: $150-200 [Sturdy leather sandles, loafers and sneakers (walking shoes for village teaching)]

Postage/Shipping: Cost unknown: Transporting my collection of Bahá'í books via postal service or other means to my new location

Bartering Possibilities

Friends, in return for your helping me out, I may be able to exchange some items, goods, and/or services.

Services I can provide: I build websites, including search engine optimization, so if you have a business website online I would be happy to consult with you about the best way to restructure it so that people actually start to visit it.

Materials I have on hand:

--I have about 9 new Ghanaian outfits on hand (Ladies wear only) that you might be interested in receiving in exchange for your help

--Bearly used Lexmark printer ($50 retail value)

Other ways to help…

Preorder a copy of Apples for the Pupil and save 20% off the retail price when you do.

Visit my Cafe Press Store (under construction) and order something from there

Get your vitamins and supplements from Xtend-life.

Get your liquid vitamins and supplements from this shop

Visit any of the sites listed on my Pioneer4Life page, and click on any Google ads that catches your interest while you browse these sites.

Once I'm out the country and have a stable internet connection, hire me for some virtual assistance work. It's bound to be a whole lot cheaper than you can get it here.

Friends, thanks for your support

With warm regards,

Lo
